High pressure laminates in India are manufactured by applying pressure not lesser than 1,000 psi (70 kg/cm²). Generally, the pressure these laminates are subjected to ranges between 1,200 psi to 2,000 psi (80 to 140 kg/cm²). High pressure laminates have resin impregnated cellulose layers that are consolidated under heat and pressure. The process makes laminates tougher and more durable, which makes them ideal to be used at different spaces.
